DIAGNOSTICS AND CERTIFICATION

Since Želvoz holds a number of standards in the field of mechanical engineering, we are able to inspect various parts and welded joints, to carry out other forms of quality control before or after machining, and to issue reports on the inspected parts, namely:

1. Non-destructive testing (NDT)
   • Ultrasonic testing, UT2 level, with certified testing equipment
   • Magnetic particle testing, MT2 level, with certified testing equipment
   • Penetrant testing, PT2 level, with certified testing equipment
   • Visual testing, VT2 level
2. Testing of wagon wheels, crane wheels and other types of wheels for residual stresses
3. Dimensional inspection on a measuring table
4. Mobile or stationary hardness testing of materials
5. Mobile or stationary roughness testing of machined surfaces

• Mobile or stationary testing of brake devices for freight and passenger wagons, locomotives and other rail vehicles
• Certification of brake devices (accredited brake workshop)
• Leak-tightness certification of valves, with adjustment of the valve opening to a defined pressure (accredited valve testing and repair workshop)
• Testing of braking systems on rail vehicles, with diagrams and reports

• Mass unbalance testing of pump rotors, shafts and smaller turbine rotors
• Balancing of shafts and rotors
